Setting an IP address

1. Press Menu.
2. Press HP 3000 3600 3800 arrow down Setting an IP address to highlight CONFIGURE DEVICE, and then press HP 3000 3600 3800 check Setting an IP address.
3. Press HP 3000 3600 3800 arrow down Setting an IP address to highlight I/O, and then press HP 3000 3600 3800 check Setting an IP address.
4. Press HP 3000 3600 3800 arrow down Setting an IP address to highlight EMBEDDED JETDIRECT, and then press HP 3000 3600 3800 check Setting an IP address.
5. Press HP 3000 3600 3800 arrow down Setting an IP address to highlight TCP/IP, and then press HP 3000 3600 3800 check Setting an IP address.
6. Press HP 3000 3600 3800 check Setting an IP address to select CONFIG METHOD.
7. Press HP 3000 3600 3800 arrow down Setting an IP address to highlight MANUAL, and then press HP 3000 3600 3800 check Setting an IP address.
8. Press HP 3000 3600 3800 arrow down Setting an IP address to highlight MANUAL SETTINGS, and then press HP 3000 3600 3800 check Setting an IP address.
9. Press HP 3000 3600 3800 arrow down Setting an IP address to highlight IP Address:, and then press HP 3000 3600 3800 check Setting an IP address.
10. Press the HP 3000 3600 3800 arrow up Setting an IP address or HP 3000 3600 3800 arrow down Setting an IP address arrow to increase or decrease the number for the first byte of the IP address.
11. Press HP 3000 3600 3800 check Setting an IP address to move to the next set of numbers. (Press HP 3000 3600 3800 arrow return Setting an IP address to move to the previous set of numbers.)

To cycle through the numbers faster, hold down the arrow button.

12. Repeat steps 10 and 11 until the correct IP address is entered, and then press HP 3000 3600 3800 check Setting an IP address to save the setting.
13. Press Menu to return to the Ready state.
